To quote William Shakespeare, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts. (As You Like It)
The many parts in Shakespeare’s plays were played many times in London and around the world on the 23rd and 24th April, marking the 400th anniversary of the death of ‘The Bard’.
Highlight of the London festival was the embankment walk, where 37 plays were shown simultaneously on 37 screens, each one featuring re-enactments of scenes in the original locations than inspired Shakespeare to write the play.
Earlier in the month, actors and a film crew arrived in North Cyprus and headed for Othello’s Tower in Famagusta to film shots for the play of the same name.
Here is the end product which I am sure you will enjoy as we hope will many other people around the world when it will be shown as part of the 400th year celebrations of the world’s most prolific playwright. Click here to view.
